2. Hosting, content delivery and security (Cloudflare)

This website is delivered and protected against attacks via the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, and browser and system information (server log files).

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the fast, resilient delivery of the website and the defence against attacks. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) including EU Standard Contractual Clauses has been concluded with Cloudflare; Cloudflare is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Log data is retained only for as long as required for operation and security.

3. Cookies and consent

Technically necessary storage (such as saving your cookie decision in the browser) is based on § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We only set analytics cookies with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you grant via our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

All fonts are self-hosted; no connection to third-party font servers is established when the site loads.

4. Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used (e.g. pages visited, dwell time, approximate origin). IP addresses are processed in truncated form within the EU.

The sole legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement has been concluded with Google.

We retain analytics data for a maximum of 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

5. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number and property address, and your message) in order to handle your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries addressed to us).

Form messages are delivered in encrypted form via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland); corresponding data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses are in place with Microsoft.

For processing and documentation, your enquiry data is additionally stored in our own customer management system. It is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Online portal

We offer an online portal for tenants and owners at portal.kf-properties.de. It is a separate application; supplementary privacy information is provided there at login.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Werderstraße 74a, 19055 Schwerin, Germany.
